Love one another

  In our society meetings and Fellowships, we talk so much about purity in doctrine and fervency in activities. But where is love? We have become a Community without communion. We have sound doctrine and busy in social works too but love is missing. We have everything but love! The fundamental essence of love might be overlooked or neglected. The very purpose of our assembling should be “to stir up love and good works”. We are to forgive, forbear, exhort, encourage, edify, accept, appreciate and pray for one another. The pattern for our love is Christ Himself. “As I have loved you, you also love one another”. To love one another is God’s message to us “from the beginning”. Love is a central value in many belief systems and moral teachings, and it should ideally permeate all aspects of human interaction and community life.
