Two are better than one


 

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.

In 1904 there was an exhibition going on in St. Louis in Mizzouri. It was a summer and it was very hot, that many people went to an ice cream shop to have a cool ice cream.  The shop was owned by Arnold. He never expected such a large crowd and all his paper cups meant for serving ice cream vanished in no time.

He was so disappointed because he did not know how to serve customers ice creams without cups. In the next shop a man was selling wafers and his business was so dull. He saw Arnold suffering for lack of paper cups. Immediately a business thought came to him, that he used his wafer flour and made cone shaped cups and gave it to the ice cream shop. They started serving ice cream in cone cups.

Both made good money because there was very good sales that day. This is the story of cone ice cream.

There is more power in our joint prayers and joint ministries too. Our bible says a man can chase 1000 evil spirits and two men can jointly chase 10,000 evil spirits. Jesus says if two of you are united in prayer and ask the heavenly father surely the heavenly father will grant your request.

Instead of doing a job alone, if two or more of us join together, we will get better results.

  Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee.   There is a game called Trust-Fall, a person is asked to stand on a table when the leader say fall he will fall backwards from the table and the others will catch hold of him without hurting him on the floor.   This game is practiced inside companies to enhance trust worthiness among the employees.     We cannot trust any person always, the only person we can trust always is our loving Jesus.

The Great Wall of China

  The Great Wall of China one of the wonders of this world is 4500miles long, 35feet high and 25feet wide.   Nobody can climb over it or demolish it.   The purpose of building this wall is to save China from the enemies attack.   But the enemies of China, Barbaians three times entered China.   They never climbed over the wall, they never demolished the wall, nor did they move around the wall.   They just entered through the main gate freely by bribing those security there.   In our life also our lack of self-control will lead us to great defeats.   We must control our spirit, thoughts, anger, emotions, lust, jealous and greed for money.   If we cannot control we will be unsafe.   Let us receive God’s grace to have real self-control in our life and be blessed.
