Wounded Healer

 


Once  a man’s wife was diagnosed cancer in spleen. It was in the well advanced stage. The words of the doctor pronouncing her death in few weeks haunted the family.

Though the whole family plunged into darkness both the man and his wife started acknowledging God’s promises with faith. As the doctor had told them pain started growing in her body along with all other symptoms of approaching death. Even in the middle of night both the husband and the wife started proclaiming the word of God with faith. By his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus carried all our sufferings and sickness on the cross. Jesus has earned healing and deliverance for us.

She even hung her photographs of horse riding in her room and declared that God will heal me and I will again go horse riding. This she declared every day. Day by day she started healing. All her cancer cells got destroyed completely. Now she is serving the poor cancer patients.

Whatever may be the condition of our body our loving God is able to heal us. Instead of meditating upon our sickness, believe in God and his word and start proclaiming his word. God will do miracles in your life.

  There is a game called Trust-Fall, a person is asked to stand on a table when the leader say fall he will fall backwards from the table and the others will catch hold of him without hurting him on the floor.   This game is practiced inside companies to enhance trust worthiness among the employees.     We cannot trust any person always, the only person we can trust always is our loving Jesus.

Life changing power

  A group of well-educated social service activist went to a tribal village. They have to walk through forests for a long distance to arrive at the village. To their surprise they saw a small boy reading a book. They went near him and asked what he was reading. Again to their surprise the boy replied that he was reading the Bible. One among them replied to the boy that reading the Bible personally is not relevant to their lives today because it was written two thousand years ago and today's life has changed so much. The boy replied to them, true sir the world has changed so much but if my villagers were not taught to read by few people who came here years ago and if our people had not read the Bible, by now they would have surrounded you and killed all of you and preparing to cook and eat you all. This book I am reading today saved your lives and changed our lives too.  The power of Jesus' love and the power of the Word of God are so GREAT.
