Second Wind

In marathon run while men are running for a long distance slowly they will be losing their strength and after sometime they will start receiving a new strength, they call it Second Wind.  After two hours of running glycogen will be totally converted into energy, so there won’t be any sugar in their body and they will feel like fainting.  In this situation they will receive a new energy from the fat in their body.  The energy they receive from sugar is being changed to the energy they receive from fat.  During this conversion time they should not give up and continue to run and be patient until the energy conversion is complete.  Thereby they will receive this new energy and new strength which is called second wind so that they can complete the race.

In our race towards inheriting the blessings kept by God for us we should not get tired and stop in the middle.  We must keep running with lot of patience and faith in God.  Then our loving God will renew our strength, encourage us so that we can continue our race to inherit all God’s blessings that is reserved for us and we can be a blessing to others also.

A parallel is drawn between the experience of marathon runners and the journey of individuals seeking blessings from God. Just as marathon runners may experience a phenomenon known as "second wind," where they receive a renewed burst of energy to continue running, it is believed that individuals who continue to have faith in God will receive strength and encouragement to keep going in their pursuit of inheriting God's blessings.

The analogy suggests that just as runners need to endure the depletion of their glycogen and wait for the conversion of energy from fat to kick in, individuals should not give up when they face challenges or feel tired in their spiritual journey. Instead, they should maintain patience and faith in God, trusting that He will renew their strength and provide the necessary encouragement to keep going.

This perspective encourages perseverance and a belief in the rewards that come from staying steadfast in one's faith. It emphasizes the idea that God has blessings reserved for each individual, and by continuing the race with endurance, they can inherit those blessings and become a source of blessings for others as well.
