Safe guard your heart

How does a worm go inside an apple?  We may think that a worm must have pierced inside from outside of the fruit.  But in reality the worms are formed inside of an apple.

Some worms lay their eggs in apple flowers.  That particular flower when it becomes a fruit they will hatch and become worms.  Then the worms will start eating the apple and in the due process it may come out also.

The process described is known as "oviposition," where certain types of insects or worms lay their eggs inside the apple flowers. When the flowers develop into fruits, the eggs hatch, and the larvae (worms) start developing and feeding on the fruit from the inside. This is a common phenomenon in certain species of fruit flies and moths, such as the codling moth (Cydia pomonella), which is notorious for infesting apples.

Here's a step-by-step explanation of how this process occurs:

Oviposition: Female insects, like the codling moth, lay their eggs on or inside apple blossoms.

Egg Development: The eggs develop within the apple, and when the fruit forms, the eggs are already inside.

Hatching: The eggs hatch into small larvae (worms) while still inside the apple.

Feeding: The larvae start feeding on the fruit's flesh from the inside. As they grow, they create tunnels and galleries within the apple, which can significantly damage the fruit.

Life Cycle: The larvae continue to grow and develop inside the apple, consuming the fruit's nutrients.

Pupation: After a certain period of feeding and growth, the larvae exit the apple, usually through a small hole they create in the skin. They then pupate in a safe location, like the ground or nearby tree bark.

Adult Emergence: After the pupation period, adult insects (moths or fruit flies) emerge from the pupae.

Reproduction: The adult insects mate, and the females lay new eggs in apple flowers, continuing the life cycle.

To prevent such infestations, orchard owners and fruit growers often use various methods, such as monitoring, traps, and the application of insecticides at specific times in the apple's growth cycle. These measures help reduce the chances of infestation and minimize the damage caused by worms inside apples.

Similarly, sin also starts in a man’s heart by simple thoughts and through various development process will may come out as full-fledged actions. That’s why our loving God has instructed us to safe guard our heart’s thoughts and desires.  If we safe guard our heart then blessings will come out and if we fail to safe guard our heart worms of sins will come out.

Let us safe guard our heart and let the life giving spring of blessing come out of our hearts.
