No busy tone

 

A man wanted to call an insurance company.  The line was busy for a long time and after so many trials he heard the recorded voice with a musical background that the line was busy and try again. 

After some time he got the connection.  Again the recorded voice came, to renew your policy press 1, for a new policy press 2, for loans press 3, to talk to your agent press 4.  He pressed 4. Then the phone kept ringing and somebody answered, “Your agent has gone out please call after some time”.  Being sad and frustrated, the man decided never to call this insurance company again.

On the same day afternoon he had an urgent prayer request.  He went to pray.  There was no busy tone from God.  God was listening to his prayer with lot of love and care.  He understood how much God love him and care for him and he can call upon God at any time.

A manager of a company often come across big problems.   This gave him lot of worry.   To stop worrying about his problem, he did something.   He made a worry box.   He used to write down his problem that gave him worry and put it inside the worry box.   After putting inside the worry box he will force himself to stop worry about that problem.   After a week when he opened the worry box most of his problems were already solved.   Dear children of God we do have a worry box.   Put everything inside that worry box and you can stay calm and cool to watch those problems getting solved.   Yes dears, Jesus is our Worry Box.

Trust-Fall

  There is a game called Trust-Fall, a person is asked to stand on a table when the leader say fall he will fall backwards from the table and the others will catch hold of him without hurting him on the floor.   This game is practiced inside companies to enhance trust worthiness among the employees.     We cannot trust any person always, the only person we can trust always is our loving Jesus.

Life changing power

  A group of well-educated social service activist went to a tribal village. They have to walk through forests for a long distance to arrive at the village. To their surprise they saw a small boy reading a book. They went near him and asked what he was reading. Again to their surprise the boy replied that he was reading the Bible. One among them replied to the boy that reading the Bible personally is not relevant to their lives today because it was written two thousand years ago and today's life has changed so much. The boy replied to them, true sir the world has changed so much but if my villagers were not taught to read by few people who came here years ago and if our people had not read the Bible, by now they would have surrounded you and killed all of you and preparing to cook and eat you all. This book I am reading today saved your lives and changed our lives too.  The power of Jesus' love and the power of the Word of God are so GREAT.
